MEM Students Ed Steager, Pak Kau Lim, Bestowed Research Honors
Edward Steager, MEM graduate student, received the "Highly Commended" award in the 2008 Graduate Student Research Awards Competition. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost, the Office of Graduate Studies, and the Graduate Student Organization, the Graduate Student Excellence Committee grants these awards to graduate students (full-time masters and doctoral) who have performed outstanding research/scholarship in the past year. He is advised by Dr. MinJun Kim.
Pak Kau Lim, an undergraduate researcher who works with Dr. Alisa Morss through Hess Honors Research program, won Best Undergraduate Poster at Research Day in the category Computation, Modeling, and Simulation (Biological) for his poster “Application of the Lattice Boltzmann Equation Method to Fibroblast Growth Factor-2 Transport through Biological Tissues.”
